~ Bryson ~ (main line newborn photographer, chester county newborn photographer, kennet square photographer)

This little angel slept through his whole session..I may have seen his eyes for a brief second...such a squishy, cuddly little guy! I loved the adorable elf outfit his mom provided for his session (which was before christmas)...and can we talk about how seriously cute his "big" brother is?!? Loved this session...and the yummy homemade bread his mommy made for me...xoxo

~ tiny subjects :: " Sofia the 1st "

It's no surprise that with two little girls in the house there is sure to be lots of pink, purple and "princessy" things...when this show began on Disney Jr. my daughters were entranced from the beginning...the songs are catchy (although kinda annoying) and the girls like to see which princess will make a guest appearance in an episode. I have to admit though that, although I'm not super feminist, some of the things that Sofia is "supposed" to do because she's a princess is a bit silly...the show tries to put forth the lesson that anyone can do anything...but sometimes I feel the message gets lost with all the songs, etc. Either way it's a cute show and my girls sure do love Sofia...so of course they wanted her to be the center of our project on this day...

I give you Princess Sofia the First...(many of them!)

~ "B" Family ~ (chester county family photographer, exton photographer, west chester family photographer)

I was so thrilled when this family signed up for my fall mini sessions! I first met them during their youngest daughter's newborn session. Thank you "B" Family for a terrific, smile-filled session with your beautiful daughters! xo

~ Charlotte ~ (main line newborn photographer, malvern newborn photographer, west chester newborn photographer)

Oh, sweet little Miss Charlotte was just perfection for her newborn shoot...so sweet, so cozy...I loved how we were able to incorporate some beautiful items that her mommy provided. The adorable holiday hat and purple hat/wrap set were made for her by a family friend. The gorgeous antique bench that we placed her on has been in her family for years...so that was so special! I truly had a lovely morning with this princess and her mommy...thank you "S" Family for sharing little Charlotte with me...xo

~ tiny subjects :: "I like warm hugs" ~

The much anticipated new Disney movie, Frozen was released this winter and my girls are literally obsessed! They each want to be called "Elsa" and "Anna" on a regular basis. The songs are playing non-stop in the car - and in my head! When we got slammed with a ton of snow recently the girls wanted to go outside and "play frozen", but I refused to let them play in 5-10 degree temps... (mean mommy I guess) lol...

...the day I explained my photo project and how they would be involved too they were thrilled and instantly began grabbing things/toys to photograph. I had to be more clear with what I wanted to achieve with the images so they did a little more thinking and definately thought that Olaf, (a much beloved snow man character from the movie Frozen) should be put in his real environment!

So I bring you Olaf...a kindhearted snow man who loves warm hugs and wishes to experience the joys of summer!

~ tiny subjects :: a photography project ~

I've been wanting to do some kind of photography project...there are many photographers out there who have done a 365 project where they photograph something each day and post it....I know that I would never be able to follow through with that so I knew that was out...there's also some that do something weekly too. I wanted to try something that I could  involve my daughters in but not have to take images of them everyday...that would not work for them! lol...then I saw a cool story on the ClickinMoms board of photographing toys...and it hit me!...something my girls would love, easily get them involved in and at the end my plan is to make them a book of the images...my girls are literally OBSESSED with tiny figurine toys...something I was also in to as a child...I had the cabbage patch figurines, collected the ceramic Disney figurines (was kind of OCD about them) and who could forget the smurfs!!! So it's no surprise where my girls' love for tiny toys came from...

I am kind of winging it with this project...getting ideas from my 3 & 4 year olds...and just going to have fun with it!

Thanks to the many other photogs out there for the inspiration too!

With my love of Disney I thoughi it only natural to begin with one of the most famous couples in the world...enjoy!

...and be sure to check the blog often for new posts!!

~ Liam ~ (philadelphia newborn photographer, main line newborn photographer)

Driving to this little guy's session was pretty awful...rain and winds were blowing tree limbs everywhere and I was honestly a little nervous getting into the city...but when I got to his home his parents were so kind and his session went so smoothly...I was able to set up my "traveling studio" in an empty bedroom that had amazing light, thankfully considering the weather...and had a mini studio all to myself...so needless to say I got so many amazing shots of little Liam for his parents & family to cherish forever...xo

~ The "P" Family ~ (philadelphia family photographer, rittenhouse square photo shoot, main line family photographer)

I. LOVED. THIS. SHOOT! This super-fun family wanted their shoot to be in the city where they live. They are moving soon and wanted a lifestyle shoot in a place they loved for memories sake.They didn't want "super posey" shots which was super fine by me! This is what I love....capturing families just being themselves, doing things they love together! I sincerely hope they love how it turned out...because I know I do:)  "P" Family, it was a pleasure to work with you again...Happy New Year!
