Sweet Caroline is 7...and we are wishing time would slow down...

I really can not believe that 7 years ago I became a mom...I remember just how excited and nervous I was that our first born would be born healthy and happy...it took my husband and I about a year to get pregnant with her and after 2 miscarriages and a little scary start to the pregnancy we knew she was going to be okay...we had a feeling she was going to be a girl but kept that to ourselves...so it was a surprise to most that she was a girl! She was born via csection because she was a little "bugger" and was breech! We tried "version" to have her turned but she was a little stubborn one...she was born on 4/14/2009 at a healthy, but tiny 6 pounds / 4 ounces and 19 inches long...and she was gorgeous! We fell in love instantly and she has had us wrapped around her little finger ever since...

So much has happened just in this past year for our first born! She completed Kindergarten, learned how to ride her bike without the training wheels. lost 2 teeth, learned how to swim and dive into the pool!, earned her green band at the pool, played field hockey, and has learned how to read...and is doing quite well with it! In October we moved out of her first home and into a new one! She was excited to have a bigger home and a backyard but also struggled with the change. Caroline doesn't love change...but she has grown to love her new room, big backyard and neighborhood! She now takes the bus home which was a huge deal too! Most days she comes home and goes right into the backyard and plays with her new neighborhood friends! 

Just 5 weeks ago Caroline also got to become a BIG SISTER once again with the arrival of Marcella "Ella" Kathryn...little Ella has been such a blessing to our family and especially the girls. Caroline is literally obsessed with her...she is always wanting to cover her in kisses , loves holding her and reading her books. It's quite amazing that Ella resembles Caroline at that age...

Caroline is a sweetie, has such a kind heart and really loves life! Our lives are brighter, happier and funnier with her in it! My sweet Caroline I wish you love, happiness and many laughs this year...we love you forever and always! xoxo

Oh these precious boys were so amazing for their newborn shoot with me! I really love photographing twins...they are always so unique in their own way. After such a long string of photographing newborn boys I jumped at the chance when I got this client's call....although I was not going to take on anymore clients that month- due to my own pregnancy- I couldn't pass up this gorgeous girl! Precious Eloise was perfect for her newborn shoot with me...her parents and I had a lovely time too! Congratulations to this sweet family on their second little princess! xoxo
